The Enterprise Risk Visibility Workshop brings key executives and leaders together to surface your organizations enterprise risk.

The hands-on executive working session will put everyone squarely on the same page of understanding regarding the enterprise risk facing your company. The session will focus on your company's specific business plan.

Risk Manual Development

We will work with your management team to develop a formal risk manual that will articulate:
  • The company risk rationale;
  • Top Business Imperative and Goal Risk;
  • Scoring and measurement factors; and
  • Established risk mitigation processes.
Risk Factor Analysis

Too often risk factors are generically described and are of little value in effectively managing risk. We will work with your management team to develop a clear articulation of risk factors as they relate to your company specifically to ensure that meaningful and well understood mitigation processes are in place.

Risk Index and Priorities

We will establish metrics for scoring and graphically representing your company's risk to ensure the most significant risks are appropriately addressed.
The ERManaged BusinessTM Plan

An ERManaged Business TM is a process not a project. The process begins during the development of the annual business plan and manifests itself through effective execution. The process should follow an annual cycle to ensure it continually addresses the current state of the business and the environment it exists within. Once the initial ERManaged BusinessTM Plan is established, we will work with your management team on a quarterly basis to ensure the initiative is up-to-date and effectively addressing your company's risks.

The cycle begins as a part of the Annual Business Plan process. A representative calendar follows (time frames will vary with the company's planning process): 

July:
  • Conduct a thorough review of business plans in consideration of established risk factors, impacts, and known mitigation processes
October:
  • Update Business Risk Areas based on direction of new annual Business Plan
  • Update Risk Factor Scenarios to reflect current business environment
  • Update and publish Risk Manual coincident with new Annual Business Plan
  • Present results to Board of Directors during year end meeting
January:
  • Review Risk Event Scenarios against actual operating results
  • Determine effectiveness of current mitigation processes
  • Adjust and update mitigation processes
April:
  • Update Risk Manual and present results to Board of Directors during mid-year meeting
July:
  • Process repeats in consideration of current risk environment during annual business plan development
Deliverables
The results of our work will be to provide you with tools that will enable you and your management team to continually manage enterprise risk. You will receive a Risk Manual that articulates your ERM initiative rationale, processes, and results, as well as a graphic representation of risk priorities. These documents and tools can be shared with :
  • The Board of Directors to provide them with a clear understanding of the company's risks and measure in place to mitigate risk.
  • The Management Team to ensure that risk are understood across the enterprise and that your risk management philosophy is consistently followed across the organization.
  • Other Stakeholders to provide an understanding of risk and assurance that risk is being managed
